This super kilig ‘Hello Stranger’ moment wasn’t even in the script
“Hello Stranger”, Black Sheep’s new BL series starring Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara, is all the rage right now, and it’s not hard to see why: The show consistently serves us ultimate kilig feels, and we can’t wait to see where Xavier and Mico’s, um, situationship, goes!

Before we move on, though, let’s take a moment to appreciate one particular moment during episode two that really messed us up!

We’re talking about Mico’s “pinky swear promise” to Xavier, of course, which occurred when the two were slowly patching things up after a rocky start. (Might be the perfect time to check out our recaps of the first and second episodes.)

As it turns out, this moment wasn’t even in the script. Director Petersen Vargas revealed over on Instagram that JC actually improvised the gesture during rehearsal, and “it felt like the most precious, genuine thing,” so he and head writer Patrick John R. Valencia decided to make it part of Mico’s character.

“It could define the way we see Mico breaking headstrong into Xavier’s walls, and well, his life: with a heartfelt promise,” said Petersen.

That is so adorable! We can’t wait to see what happens next for #XaviMi 💖
