The iconic Christmas character Frosty the Snowman is getting a live-action film—and it will be voiced by none other than “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa!
The upcoming movie will be produced by Warner Bros. and Stampede Ventures, as reported by Deadline last Thursday, July 2.
Working on the script of the festive flick is David Berenbaum, who also wrote the Christmas comedy "Elf".
Jon Berg, who was also an executive producer for "Aquaman", is happy to have Jason voice Frosty. He said, "From his role as a count in a land of ice and fire to the oceanic success we all had with 'Aquaman', it felt only right to realize Jason this time in snow."
Meanwhile, Greg Silverman from Stampede also believes that Jason is truly the one for the part.
"We know Jason’s as a true human being filled with love, compassion and a deep connection to ohana — all of which is the living spirit of Xmas and Frosty," he said.
Jason will personify Frosty through CGI (computer-generated imagery). The film will be a hybrid of CG and live-action.
