There’s a Filipino indie film festival happening on TikTok right now
TikTok is the Swiss Army Knife of video-sharing—on it, you’ll find memes, dance breaks, Vine-style skits, and now, film festivals, too!

That’s right, you can enjoy some local cinema flavor by opening your app and browsing through the TikTok Indie Sine Fest, which has now officially kicked off.

The festival aims to showcase independently produced short films by Filipino filmmakers, and with millions on the platform, it’s a great way to share local talent to wider audiences.

The first two films audiences can now enjoy are “Dating Nick” and “Sunugin ang Aparador” by Gio Potes, which premiered this evening, June 26. Below is the full TikTok Indie Sine Fest lineup. All films premiere at 8PM.

June 26

“Dating Nick” and “Sunugin ang Aparadaor” by Gio Potes.

“By the Sea” by Raymond Pangilinan.

June 28
